Rick Mancil, Jr.,     President     rick@mancils.com

Rick has more than 20 years of practical and managerial experience in heavy construction, earthwork, asphalt paving and related site-work. His proven ability to establish and direct site improvement operations are consistent with the company’s record of increasing revenue and profitability. Rick has the astute ability of recruiting and training effective superintendents, operators and administrative teams. He is frequently recognized by industry peers for outstanding service and satisfaction. His marketing and accounting skills makes him an outstanding leader and negotiator. Quality customer service is his number one priority.

 

Mark D’Annunzio,     Chief Estimator & Project Manager     mark@mancils.com

With his engineering background, Mark is a qualified site-work estimator. He has provided detailed takeoffs, using Quest Estimator, of potential projects from construction documents to determine overall project cost for all phases of site work including Earthwork, Sediment control, Stormwater Management, Asphalt, Concrete, Drainage, Water, Sewer, Fire Service, Landscaping, Irrigation, Lighting, Striping and Signage and Specialty Hardscaping. Mark is able to work with the client to provide a lower construction cost.

 

Myra Smith,     Controller & Purchasing     myra@mancils.com

Myra brought over 30 years of experience in the financial arena when she became controller of Mancil’s 6 years ago. She has worked in the construction industry, gaining extensive experience in all phases of construction accounting. In addition to her accounting responsibilities, she purchases all the parts and supplies for the heavy equipment that keeps Mancil’s operating and coordinates the office personnel to work as a cohesive team. Myra’s expertise in managing not only financial information, but people as well, makes her a valued member of Mancil’s team.

Rick has been in construction most of his life, operating all types of heavy equipment including dozer, backhoe, forklift and cranes.  That training brings Rick a comprehensive understanding of how the job is to be built. He is OSHA 30 Hour trained and is an OSHA Construction Industry Outreach Trainer, Supervisor Fall Protection trained, Qualified Forklift Trainer and Qualified Signal person trainer.  He holds Florida Class A CDL license, CIC Certified Crane Operator Tb-21,Tb-21-75, CIC Certified Signal Person/Rigger, Certified AT Fork Lift Operator, CSX railroad Contractor Safety Certified.  His experience is invaluable and we are happy to have him on our team.

 

Scott Porcaro,     Estimator     estimating@mancils.com

Scott is a 3 year veteran with Mancil’s and one of our site-work estimators. His experience and knowledge of providing detailed take-offs using Pro-Contractor, allows him to take on several projects at a time while executing each bid in a timely manner. Scott also aids in procuring subcontractor bids, change orders, bid bonds, and purchasing of specific items required by bid documents. Scott’s competency in preparing project estimates gives Mancil’s that competitive edge.

Rick has worked in the Construction and Construction Materials industry for over 30 years working closely with companies such as, the Florida Concrete Products Association and Florida Department of Transportation. During his career in the construction industry, he has been an Area General Manager, Production Manager, Sales Representative and Promotion Representative. Here at Mancil’s, Rick helps with everything from estimating and field operations to administrative tasks. He works on both large and small projects while building positive relationships with our clients. We are pleased to have Rick a part of our team.

 

Sue Smart,     Billing & Contract Administration     sue@mancils.com

Sue came to Mancil’s with numerous years of Executive and Administrative experience, along with blue print reading and a comprehensive understanding of the process for permit applications and AIA documentation. Sue leads the charge, providing essential initial documentation and research to set the standard in accurate and efficient job bidding. She juggles dozens of bid packages at a time and gathers all the necessary insurance forms, certificates and other bidding materials, all while keeping track of tight deadlines and other bid demands.

 

Dee Mueck,     Dispatcher     dee@mancils.com

Dee is responsible for communicating with our dump and roll off truck drivers, as well as our heavy haulers, and will assign drivers to their loads, make sure that they leave and arrive on schedule. Dee is available at all times to answer any questions from drivers to help them avoid traffic jams and keep them aware of inclement weather ahead. She is also available to answer any questions our customers might have.  In addition, Dee’s knowledge of construction accounting makes her a great asset to Mancil’s team.

Hannah Martel,     Asphalt Plant Engineer     hannah@mancils.com

Hannah is a chemical engineer with over 20 years’ experience in process control and development. Her past employment included Mobil Oil and Alcoa, working with petroleum and chemical production. Although Hannah is relatively new to the field of asphalt, she was the perfect addition to our Mancil’s staff – just in time to provide quality and production engineering for our new onsite Asphalt Plant.  As an FDOT Plant 1 and Plant 2 Operator, Hannah is responsible for the quality control of the asphalt plant production, quality control testing, laboratory documentation and maintenance. Using her FDOT Paver 1 and Paver 2 certifications, she provides quality control and testing of Mancil’s asphalt paving. Her field experience has been an advantage when working with our paving crew.  Hannah is a great asset to our team here at Mancil’s.

Sheryl is not new to the sitework industry.  Sheryl is the smile at our front door and her knowledge of heavy construction helps her provide the field and office constant and effective support.   She handles all our trucking tickets and keeps our job costing records up to date.  Sheryl has been a fantastic addition to our staff.

Carole Landry,     Safety Manager     carole@mancils.com

As Safety Manager, Carole conducts regular on site inspections, deals with all safety training for new hires and works to promote safety and ensure all state, local and federal safety standards are met with all employees. In addition, she works to ensure job site safety for citizens who may be traveling on roads under construction or for those who may live and work nearby. She holds frequent safety meetings with supervisors, drivers, mechanics and heavy equipment operators. Mancil’s outstanding safety record is a direct reflection of Carole’s expertise and diligence every day, with every job.
